Here are some frequently ask questions that we get on a daily basis. This should help answer any questions you may have and get you ready for you Skagway/Yukon adventure.

Are there any extra fees?
Our rental rates, starting at $399 per day for a 7-passenger SUV, do not include the 5% Skagway Municipality tax or the 10% Alaska Vehicle Rental tax in the price.
Mileage: 200 miles included – additional milage charged at $0.50/mile. A $100 late fee will be added for vehicles dropped off after the 6PM drop-off time.
Do I need to refuel the car?
We have (2) options for refueling the car at the end of the rental, you can refill it yourself at our gas station located at the corner of 2nd Street and State Street, or we are happy to refill the car for you. There is a $25 dollar refueling fee plus the gas that you used.
Do I have to Pay for additional insurance?
No. We let you use your personal insurance and now most credit cards cover rental car insurance. Check with your Credit Card Company for full details.

What should I wear?
Bring a light jacket. It can be cooler at the top of the mountains as you drive into the Yukon.
What do I need to bring?
Make sure everyone in your party has a valid passport. You must have one to cross into Canada on your drive up the Klondike Highway.
How much is a Brown Bag Lunch?
$15 for a Smoked Turkey and Ham sandwich on Sourdough with Chips and bottled water.
What is your refund policy?
You will be charged for the full cost of your rental if you choose to cancel a prepaid reservation 48 hours prior to the rental pick up time. In the event your ship does not dock in Skagway for any reason you will not be charged any fees and we will refund the full amount of your payment.
Do I have to make a reservation?
No. We accept walk in reservations. However, we do recommend that you reserve your car in advance, since we are a small company and have limited inventory.
